About

My name is Chris.  I hail from Michigan and have lived in Macomb County my whole life.  Met my soul-mate (a yooper*)  in college.  She is a  Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and I work in higher education and volunteer in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.  We have a newborn son, Liam and a cat named Pinot Grigio.

I am passionate about health, leadership and the outdoors.  I like to read about them and emulate good examples.  We are starting to get into prepping and preparedness as well.  You can read more about my thoughts and readings on nutrition here.
